C377 Marcos
1970-1972

The third Corgi was based on the 3 Litre engine Coupe that the Marcos factory produced between 1969 and 1971.

In 1969 Corgi introduced Whizzwheels to there range of models, and the Marcos 1800 Coupe was the first to receive this new feature, but during the make over the model was transformed into the Ford V6 3 Litre.

This Corgi was based heavily on the Volvo 1800 released earlier, but without the opening doors, and the Driver Figure. The Bonnet however, how with the central power bulge, did still open, this time revealing a detailed Ford 3Litre V6 Engine.
This model was introduced by Corgi in June 1970, and withdrawn in 1972 with 235,000 sales.
