The second Marcos Corgi was based on the Mini Marcos GT850 that Marcos produced on and off for many years. Corgi introduced this model in March 1968 and was the first model to feature the 'Golden Jacks' quick release take off wheels, in addition to having opening doors and bonnet, and sliding front seats.

Again in excess of 636,000 Corgi models were produced until it was withdrawn in 1970.
